Player Notes
September 26, 2008
Robinson Tejeda is still nursing a strained hip flexor and may not return during the Royals' final three-game set with the Twins, according to the KC Star.

Our View:He has been among the Royals' top pitchers this season with a 1.13 WHIP, and there is no point risking further injury with the Royals out of the playoff race.
September 23, 2008
Robinson Tejeda, who is recovering from a hip flexor injury, threw long toss Monday and remains hopeful of returning before the end of the season, according to the KC Star.

Our View:He is hopeful, but remains a longshot to return. He would have to throw a full bullpen session and then likely throw to live hitters, with just a handful of days left in the season.
September 21, 2008
Royals reliever Robinson Tejeda did not suffer a tear of his left hip flexor, but instead it was a strain, according to the Kansas City Star. It is unlikely he will return this season.

Our View:Tejada has been okay this season, but as a middle reliever he done has not hold very much fantasy value.
September 19, 2008
The AP reports that Robinson Tejeda left Friday night's game with the White Sox with a strained left hip flexor after throwing a wild pitch in the seventh.

Our View:The severity of the injury is unknown. We will update as more news becomes available.
September 15, 2008
Robinson Tejeda hurled five strong innings in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against Cleveland, but isn't likely to get another start in the rotation, according to the KC Star.

Our View:As a starter he was worth a look in deeper AL-only leagues, but would not hold much value if moved back to the bullpen.
