Ryan Church was 1-for-4 with a grand slam in the Mets 9-2 win over the Brewers on Wednesday.

Our View:Look for Church to continue to see plenty of RBI opportunities hitting in the middle of the potent Mets lineup.

Manager Jerry Manuel had said that he was going to ease Ryan Church back into the lineup, but now he thinks Church is ready to play every day, according to MLB.com. "I think he's at the point now where he has to be one of those four or five guys who's in there every day," Manuel said.

Our View:Church will handle right, while Fernando Tatis and Daniel Murphy will share the duties on left field.

Ryan Church returned to the big leagues and he will start in Friday's game, according to MetsBlog.com.

Our View:Church is expected to play in a platoon role in order to lighten the potential for his post-concussion problems to reappear. Clearly this is not something fantasy owners must be thrilled about, as his value takes a significant drop.

Ryan Church, who was recovering from post-concussion syndrome, will return to the Mets Friday, according to the NY Daily News.

Our View:Church will not return to the starting lineup, and will share playing time with Fernando Tatis in right field. Nick Evans and Dan Murphy will also continue to platoon in left field. Church will not hold favorable fantasy value as a reserve.

When outfielder Ryan Church returns to the Mets, it will be as a back-up, according to Mets.com. "When he does come back, we don't have to rely heavily on him playing every single day," Mets manager Jerry Manuel said.

Our View:Church is currently rehabbing from post-concussion syndrome in Triple-A ball. It is not known when he will be recalled, but his fantasy stock just took a big hit. He was highly productive in the 57 games he played this year, hitting 10 home runs with 36 RBI and an OPS of .882. It will be difficult for fantasy players to rely on a player who is not guaranteed a certain number of at-bats.
