Prince Fielder sat out the finale Sunday with a swollen knee. Fielder suffered the injury Saturday when his leg buckled in the 11th inning as the Padres' Jason Lane clipped him when he slid into first base, according to SportsTicker.

Prince Fielder was suspended for three games by the commissioner's office Wednesday for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" during a confrontation with plate umpire Wally Bell on Sunday. Unless appealed, the suspension will begin tonight, when the Brewers play host to the Cardinals at Miller Park, according to ESPN.com.
