Our View:Howard is having a typical Howard season in 2009 and remains an elite option at first base in every format.

Our View:Not that this makes any difference in whether or not you start him - you should. Period.

As expected, Phillies' first baseman Ryan Howard is in the lineup for their Tuesday night game in Tampa against the Rays, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Howard will play first base at hit in his usual spot in the order.

Our View:Howard must be feeling much better, because he is playing first base when the Phillies could have opted to DH him instead. Expect him to be good to go tonight, so fantasy owners need to get him in the lineup ASAP.

Updating a previous report, Phillies' first baseman Ryan Howard is expected to rejoin his team on Tuesday night in time for their game against the Rays in Tampa, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Howard missed Sunday's game after going to the hospital with a 104 degree fever and being diagnosed with acute sinusitis.

Our View:Howard is hopeful that he will be able to play tonight, but if he doesn't start he will likely be available for pinch-hit duty. Howard owners should check back throughout the day to find out if he will be in the lineup tonight, and we will make sure we break the news as soon as it gets released.

According to the Philadelphia Daily News, Phiilies' slugger Ryan Howard is unlikely to travel with the team when they depart for their nine game road trip. Howard is still very sick, and he has been in the hospital throughout the weekend.

Our View:If Howard is unable to fly with the team to Tampa, he will likely rejoin them later in the week when he is fully healed. Keep checking back for more info on his status, but it looks like he may miss a few games.
