Cliff Lee was not feeling well during the first inning of Thursday's game against the Royals, when he walked the first two hitters he faced and gave up a run, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I felt dizzy," he said. "It was almost like a blood-sugar thing. I felt like I needed some sugar or something to eat. It's happened before when I was younger, but not lately." The Tribe's training staff gave Lee some Gatorade and a Gatorade bar between innings. He went on to pitch six innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and three walks.

Cliff Lee and the Indians aren't likely to agree on a long-term contract before opening day, according to the AP. "Their idea of fair and our idea of fair are two different things," Lee said. "But it's not over yet. Things could change in the next few days." Lee won 18 games with a 3.79 ERA last year.
