Player Notes
August 20, 2008
Bill Hall did not contribute offensively to the Brewers 5-2 win over Houston on Wednesday. Instead, he went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts, earning him the dreaded golden sombrero.

Our View:For the month of August, Hall has struck out 15 times in 29 at-bats, or 52 percent of the time. That's really all fantasy owners need to know at this point.
July 29, 2008
Bill Hall is out of the lineup tonight for the Milwaukee Brewers as he is hitting just .184 against Chicago Cubs starter Carlos Zambrano, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Hall has a decent amount of home runs with 14 on the year, but his batting average overall is .230, so he probably should not be on fantasy rosters, but if he is, make the appropriate changes.
July 22, 2008
Bill Hall hit his second game-winning home run in as many nights against the Cardinals on Tuesday. It was his only hit in four at-bats.

Our View:Hall is crushing the ball in July. His average is up to .370 on the month to go with four home runs, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored.
July 11, 2008
Bill Hall filled in as a pinch-hitter on Friday and finished the game 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored.

Our View:Hall and Russell Branyan seem to be in an unofficial platoon at this point. Hall's terrible June won't be repeated if he only sees lefties.
July 9, 2008
The Brewers suffered the the 8-3 loss this evening against Colorado, though third baseman Bill Hall tried his best to reverse their fortunes. Hall went 2-for-4 at the dish with his 16th double and 12th homer of the season, totaling one RBI and two runs scored on the night.

Our View:Hall hit just .164 through 55 June at-bats, though his six homers with 15 RBIs was of great benefit for fantasy owners and the Brewers alike. Through 24 July at-bats, he's hitting .417 with two homers and nine RBIs, well on pace to exceed those numbers last month.
