Bill Hall is in line to be shipped to Boston as part of the Red Sox's soon-to-be-done deal that will send Casey Kotchman to Seattle, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

Our View:Hall has some pop in his bat and is decent against lefties but is downright useless against righties and overall too inconsistent at the plate. Look for him to be used as a utility-man around the field for Boston.

Bill Hall (quad) is considered day-to-day by the Mariners, according to the Seattle Times.

Our View:He left Tuesday's game with supposedly only cramps, but was sore and unable to play on Wednesday. He will likely return sometime this weekend. In 21 games since coming to Seattle, he is hitting .244 with one home run and eight RBI.
September 11, 2009
Bill Hall had a fine day at the plate despite the final score of the game. He went 3-for-3 in the Mariners' 3-0 loss to the Angels.

Our View:Hall was the lone bright spot Thursday and provided 60 percent of his team's total hits. Still, while he's been better with the M's than the Brewers, he's not consistent enough to merit any fantasy consideration.
September 4, 2009
Bill Hall was 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored on Thursday in the Mariners' 7-4 win over the A's.

Our View:Hall has come up big over the last two days for his new team, but he is still far from a good fantasy play. He has fallen a long way this season, and there is no reason to think he will put up numbers consistently in September.
September 2, 2009
Bill Hall played second base for the Mariners on Wednesday and not only made two dazzling defensive plays, but doubled in the game winning run in the seventh inning of the Mariners 3-0 win.

Our View:Hall finished the day 1-for-4, but certainly made an impact Wednesday. Still, he's hitting below .230 with his new club, and while that's an improvement from what he did in Milwaukee, he should be avoided in all fantasy formats.
