David Wright will bat fifth in Sunday's opener with Paul Lo Duca in the second spot, the New York Daily News reports. Willie Randolph had toyed with the idea of Wright hitting second earlier in camp, and perhaps it will be revisited shortly, but not in the opener with the Cardinals.

David Wright hit second for the Mets yesterday, with Paul Lo Duca hitting sixth, according to the New York Post. It isn't clear if manager Willie Randolph plans on hitting Wright second during the season, but Wright doesn't seem to care either way. "It doesn't matter where I hit," he said.
