Gavin Floyd only surrendered five hits over 7.2 scoreless innings in Monday's 6-3 win at Cleveland. He issued two walks with five strikeouts.

Our View:Floyd continues to pitch great, as he allowed one or less earned runs in each of his last five starts, and is 3-0 over the span. He shall remain active in fantasy leagues.
June 24, 2009
Gavin Floyd allowed three runs (only one earned) on six hits over six innings in Wednesday's 10-7 win over the Dodgers at U.S. Cellular Field. He had two walks and three strikeouts.

Our View:Floyd evens his season record to 5-5, and only issued one earned run in each of his last four starts. Keep him active in fantasy leagues.

Gavin Floyd was solid in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the cross-town rival Cubs at Wrigley Field, as he only allowed one earned run on four hits over seven innings. He had three walks and two strikeouts.

Our View:The Sox led 3-1 when Floyd exited, but he was unfortunately forced to take a no-decision as the Cubs rallied to score five runs over the last innings of the game to pull out a win. Floyd left with a 3-1 lead in his last outing against the Tigers as well. On the bright side, he trimmed his ERA down to 4.65 today.
June 11, 2009
Gavin Floyd was in control in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field, as he only allowed one earned run on five hits over eight innings. He had no walks and fired five strikeouts.

Our View:He left the game with a 3-1 lead, but Curtis Granderson launched a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to tie the game 3-3, leaving Floyd with a no-decision rather than a win. He is pitching very well right now, as he allowed two or less earned runs in each of his three starts so far in June.
June 6, 2009
Gavin Floyd produced his second straight good outing on Saturday as the White Sox beat the Indians 4-2. Floyd went 6.2 innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits while walking one and striking out seven.

Our View:Floyd has been inconsistent all season, but today he looked like the pitcher most thought he would be this year. Floyd produced two very solid starts this week, so maybe he has turned the corner. Floyd owners should keep him in the lineup, but don't be shocked if he has a poor outing in his next few starts.
