The Yankees have reportedly sold outfielder Todd Linden to Tohoku Rakuten of the Japanese Pacific League, according to the Scranton Times-Tribune.

Our View:Linden was hitting .312 in Triple-A prior to the move. He had little chance to make the Yankees this season as they have a very deep outfield.

LoHud.com reports that Todd Linden will be a non-roster invitee to the Yankees spring training. The outfielder has not played in the majors since 2007.

Our View:Linden hit .353/.421/.482 in 85 spring training at-bats in 2007 with the A's. He will need to have a similar type spring to sniff the Yankees' 40-man roster.

Outfielder Todd Linden has been signed to a minor league deal with the Indians, according to the TribeTimeReport.com. Linden, who was previous in the Athletics' organization, is headed to Triple-A Buffalo.

Our View:The Indians are well stocked with outfielders, and Linden isn't likely to get called up this season, barring an injury.
