Player Notes
January 29, 2010
Mark Hendrickson passed his physical with the Orioles, according to the Baltimore Sun. His one-year deal with the Orioles (worth $1.2MM) is not expected to be made official until Monday.

Our View:The 35-year-old vet will provide depth to Baltimore's bullpen, and could also be used a spot-starter in the rotation if needed. His fantasy value remains limited.
January 28, 2010
The Baltimore Sun reports that the Orioles have signed pitcher Mark Hendrickson to a one-year, $1.2 million deal. The deal also includes a $1.2 million option for 2011.

Our View:After long struggling as a starter, Hendrickson found moderate success out of Baltimore's bullpen a season ago, posting a 3.44 ERA in 55 relief innings.
October 3, 2009
Mark Hendrickson earned his sixth win of the season on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over 6.1 innings. He fanned three in the 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Our View:Hendrickson moved back into the rotation on September 17th and after a rocky first outing, he's recorded three quality starts in a row.
September 28, 2009
Mark Hendrickson gave up three earned runs on three hits over six innings in Monday's 7-6 loss at Tampa Bay. He had one walk with three strikeouts, and was tagged for three homers.

Our View:The Orioles were leading 6-3 when Hendrickson exited, so he was handed a no-decision. Hendrickson is winless over his three starts this month.
September 22, 2009
Mark Hendrickson allowed two earned runs on four hits over six innings in Tuesday's 6-5 loss at Toronto. He had two walks and no strikeouts.

Our View:Hendrickson had a good night on the mound, and was handed a no-decision instead of a loss as Baltimore was leading 4-2 when he exited. He allowed two earned runs in each of his last two starts.
