Player Notes
October 3, 2009
Mark Hendrickson earned his sixth win of the season on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over 6.1 innings. He fanned three in the 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Our View:Hendrickson moved back into the rotation on September 17th and after a rocky first outing, he's recorded three quality starts in a row.
September 28, 2009
Mark Hendrickson gave up three earned runs on three hits over six innings in Monday's 7-6 loss at Tampa Bay. He had one walk with three strikeouts, and was tagged for three homers.

Our View:The Orioles were leading 6-3 when Hendrickson exited, so he was handed a no-decision. Hendrickson is winless over his three starts this month.
September 22, 2009
Mark Hendrickson allowed two earned runs on four hits over six innings in Tuesday's 6-5 loss at Toronto. He had two walks and no strikeouts.

Our View:Hendrickson had a good night on the mound, and was handed a no-decision instead of a loss as Baltimore was leading 4-2 when he exited. He allowed two earned runs in each of his last two starts.
September 17, 2009
Mark Hendrickson was no match for rookie Wade Davis and the Rays on Thursday night. The lanky lefty allowed two runs in just 3.1 innings, as Davis and the Rays shutout the Orioles 3-0 in Baltimore.

Our View:Hendrickson was making just his eighth start of the season after mostly pitching as a reliever in 2009. It is in relief that he will also surely pitch in 2010.
September 14, 2009
Mark Hendrickson will replace rookie Brian Matusz in the Orioles' rotation, according to the Associated Press. The club is shutting down Matusz to prevent him from overextending his arm.

Our View:Hendrickson is 1-4 with a 6.35 ERA over seven starts with Baltimore this season. The lefty started the year in their rotation.
