Juan Uribe is no longer needed in Chicago with the emergence of Alexei Ramirez so it appears that the White Sox will try to move their former starting shortstop, according to the Chicago Sun Times. "The only thing I said is, 'Listen, keep doing what you're doing, and we're going to try to do the best thing for you.' We want him to have the best opportunity," manager Ozzie Guillen said.

Our View:Uribe will be a free agent at the end of the year, and given that he is hitting only .215 with three home runs in 135 AB, the Sox likely won't get much in return.

Juan Uribe has been activated from the DL on Saturday, according to the Miami Herald. In an adjoining move, the team designated outfielder DeWayne Wise for assignment.

Our View:Uribe has recovered from a strained right hamstring. He was only hitting .198 over 116 at-bats this season, and should share second base with Alexei Ramirez.

Juan Uribe went 0-for-3 Tuesday in his first rehab game with Triple-A Charlotte. The second baseman is recovering from a right hamstring strain and could be activated from the disabled list by Saturday if he's given clearance, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Our View:Personally we would just cut Uribe loose and give the second base job to Alexei Ramirez, but strangely, no one in the White Sox front office has asked for our input.

Chicago infielder Juan Uribe is on track with is rehabilitation, recovering from an injured hamstring, according the Sports Xchange.

Our View:Uribe took batting practice with the club today and was running in the field a bit. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list on May 15th and the team is hopeful he will return on schedule.

The White Sox placed Juan Uribe on the DL Friday due to a strained left hamstring. Uribe was injured in the sixth inning of last Thursday's game and hasn't played since. Dwayne Wise was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte to take his place on the roster.

Our View:Uribe is hitting just .198 with three homers on the year, so he's not going to be missed. Alexei Ramirez will continue to fill in at second.
