The Providence Journal reports that Rocco Baldelli will start in place of J.D. Drew on Wednesday when the Red Sox face the Marlins and left-handed pitcher Andrew Miller.

Our View:Baldelli has been very mediocre in limited duty this season. He won't see much action this weekend as the Red Sox will face four straight right-handed pitchers after tonight.

Rocco Baldelli is in Thursday's lineup in right field against the Yankees, according to the Providence Journal.

Our View:Baldelli is hitting .257 with eight homers over 55 career games against New York, and is worth consideration for AL-only leagues if you have him on your roster. He has a hit in six of his last games this season.

After aggravating a left knee injury crashing into a Rogers Centre wall Saturday, Rocco Baldelli should be ready to return to action on Tuesday when the Sox play Detroit according to The Providence Journal.

Our View:Despite the unusually quick recovery from the ever injury prone Baldelli, he is still obviously not a viable fantasy option. Be happy for his knee, but steer him clear of your team.

Rocco Baldelli returned from a knee injury on Saturday and started in right field. He hit a two-run homerun and three innings later he limped off the field after running into the outfield wall, according to the AP. He apparently suffered a knee injury.

Our View:We're not sure what it is about this guy, but he simply cannot stay healthy. Think Moises Alou in his final two seasons. For fantasy purposes, keep your distance.

The Boston Globe reports that Rocco Baldelli's hamstring feels better and that he is in Saturday's starting lineup in place of J.D. Drew. He is hitting eighth in their order.

Our View:Baldelli is hitting only .233/.267/.372 this season through 43 at bats. He is not worth a look in fantasy leagues.
