March 6, 2008 Catcher Chris Coste launched his first home run of the spring Thursday. The shot came in the second inning off Tampa starter James Shields. Coste was 1-for-2 with two RBI on the afternoon and is hitting .300 this spring.

June 29, 2007 Chris Coste was recalled from Triple-A Thursday, filling a roster spot while Jayson Werth is on the disabled list. It's unlikely he'll play much for the Phillies.
May 25, 2007 The Phillies sent Chris Coste to Double-A Reading on Friday to open up a roster spot for Mike Zagurski, who was just called up, according to the AP. Coste appeared in just four games for the Phillies, going 2-for-6 at the plate.
