Hank Blalock hit a two-run homer in the Rangers 3-1 win over the Rays on Friday. He was 1-for-3 on the day and also chipped in with a walk and a stolen base.

Our View:Blalock now has 17 dingers on the season. He has three in his last two games after hitting only two in the entire month of June.

July 1, 2009
Hank Blalock went 3-for-5 with three RBI and three runs scored in tonight's 9-7 win over the Angels at Rangers Ballpark. He hit a double and two homers, the second a game-winner off reliever Justin Speier.

Our View:Blalock now has 16 homers, and should remain a solid source for power if fantasy owners can deal with his poor .245 batting average.

Hank Blalock helped lead the Rangers in tonight's 12-2 win over the Padres at home, as he went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. He hit a solo homer and a single.

Our View:Blalock snapped an eight-game drought without a homer, and has 14 for the season. He should remain a solid source for power, but his .246 batting average leaves a bit to be desired.

Hank Blalock went 1-for-4 with a solo homer off Hiroki Kuroda in Friday's 6-0 win over the Dodgers at Rangers Ballpark.

Our View:Blalock hit his first homer of June, and has 13 for the season. He should remain a nice source for power in fantasy leagues.

Hank Blalock is in tonight's lineup at first base, according to the Dallas Morning News. Chris Davis is getting a day off after striking out six times in Friday's doubleheader with Oakland.

Our View:Blalock has four hits and two RBI over his last 11 at-bats, and is worth employing in fantasy lineups at home against the Athletics. Opposing Hurler Brett Anderson is 2-4 with a 4.98 ERA.
