The Twins have officially verified that they signed Orlando Hudson, according to beat writer Kelly Thesier's twitter page. It is a one-year deal that is believed to be worth $5MM.

Our View:The Twins beat out the AL Central rival Indians to acquire the second baseman's services. He will have a better supporting cast in Minnesota, and will help them contend for the pennant.

Orlando Hudson has agreed to a deal with the Twins, according to Curtis Kitchen's twitter page. The terms are yet to be disclosed.

Our View:Hudson was either going to land in Minnesota or Cleveland. He will serve in his normal spot at second base, and will have a solid supporting cast to post good numbers.

Free agent Orlando Hudson is apparently deciding between the Twins and Indians, according to ESPN's Buster Olney.

Our View:It looks like Hudson will end up in the AL Central, though we don't know exactly where yet. He'd start at second base in either city, though Minnesota would probably be more ideal for his fantasy value.

The Twins have intensified their pursuit of Orlando Hudson, according to FOXSports.com. Hudson is asking for at least $6 million on a one-year deal and is likely to sign on with someone this week.

Our View:O-Dog would certainly be an improvement over Nick Punto or Alexi Casilla. We'll keep you posted on this development.

The Nationals remain the favorites to sign free agent second baseman Orlando Hudson, according to MLB.com.

Our View:The Mariners and Twins are also believed to be in the mix, but the Nats have been his most serious bidder for some time now. He is expected to formally decided sometime this week.
