Scott Downs will make another spot start on Friday, according to the Blue Jays website. Downs, who is 6-1 with a 4.03 ERA, is 1-0 with a 6.43 ERA in four starts this season, but pitched well in his last start, throwing five innings of shutout ball. He will likely be replaced in the rotation by Gustavo Chacin in the near future, if the Blue Jays deem Chacin major league ready.
