Reliever John Bale tossed two scoreless innings during an outing at Triple-A Omaha, reports the Kansas City Star. Bale struck out three innings and has now worked six scoreless innings in four appearances since his rehab assignment began on May 27. He continues to recover from the strained shoulder and back that has kept him out of action since spring training.
