Orioles manager Lee Mazilli told the Baltimore Sun that it was safe to assume that Jerry Hairston would start to get more playing time at second base if the team fails to trade either Brian Roberts or Hairston. Hairston has seen a lot of time in the outfield, and if he moves back to second base on a more regular basis, Roberts would likely be on the bench or perhaps the DH.
