The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Vicente Padilla has had his next start pushed back to Tuesday due to a sore shoulder.

Our View:The Rangers don't feel the injury is serious, so Padilla will miss the Tampa Bay series but should be good to go next week. Manager Ron Washington offered some solace for fantasy owners, "He said it's no big deal. If he wants to get pushed back, we're going to listen."

Vicente Padilla was lit up for five earned runs on 10 hits over five innings in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Angels at Rangers Ballpark. He had two walks and five strikeouts, and was tagged for two homers.

Our View:Padilla was a disappointment after only allowing one run over seven innings in his last outing at Arizona. He should remain an inconsistent performer among fantasy hurlers.

Our View:Padilla had a two-game winning streak snapped, as he ended the night with a no-decision. He has issued 14 walks over his last four starts, and needs to improve his control for his next trip to the hill.
