Chipper Jones was 2-for-4 with two walks and two RBI in the Braves 9-8 win over the Nationals on Friday night.

Our View:Chipper now has a five-game hitting streak and has his average up to .295. He hasn't been above the .300 mark since June 20th.

July 1, 2009
Chipper Jones drove in three runs on Wednesday night, pacing the Braves to an 11-1 rout over the Phillies.

Our View:Chipper hasn't approached the batting title form he displayed last season, but is still having a solid 2009 season, driving in 36 runs while batting .292. He is a good option at third base in every format.

June 28, 2009
Chipper Jones hit his ninth home run of the season in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Red Sox. It was his only hit in four trips.

Our View:Chipper is constantly banged up and requires a hefty amount of off days. That was ok last season when he was hitting over .360 with a decent amount of pop. This year his nine homers and .289 average don't really cut it.

June 24, 2009
Chipper Jones went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Wednesday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees at Turner Field. Both of his knocks were singles.

Our View:Jones raised his season average to .300, and recorded multiple hits in a game for the first time since June 16.

Chipper Jones collected three of the Braves ten hits in their 7-2 loss to the Reds on Tuesday, and is now batting .308 on the season.

Our View:Chipper's not playing nearly as well as he was a year ago, when he was batting .403 on June 16, but is still a force in the middle of the Braves lineup and one of the better fantasy third baseman out there, even at age 37.
