Chad Bradford pitched two scoreless innings for the Orioles on Wednesday night as was in the right place in the 10th inning to receive his third win of the season.

Our View:Bradford is a versatile performer for the O's. He has the ability to serve as a the setup man, long relief and can fill in as a spot closer if needed.

Baltimore relief pitcher Chad Bradford celebrated a milestone this evening, according to MLB.com.

Our View:Chad Bradford entered Tuesday's game against the Red Sox with two outs in the seventh inning. Clinging to a one-run lead, the Orioles called on the 11-year veteran to escape the frame in what had become a back-and-forth slugfest. Bradford did just that, forcing Red Sox slugger Manny Ramirez to pop up to first baseman Kevin Millar. As the O's earned the 10-6 win at Fenway Park, Bradford was able to celebrate a longevity landmark -- it was the 33-year-old's 500th appearance in a Major League game.

The Baltimore Sun reports that the Orioles are in a process of finalizing a three-year deal with Chad Bradford. "The Orioles have been certainly in touch," Rex Gary, Bradford's agent, said. "We'll see where it goes. All along, if the right situation comes in front of Chad and he wants to do the deal, we'll do it." Bradford posted a 2.90 ERA in 70 games with the Mets in 2006.
