According to Jon Morosi on Twitter, free agent Joe Crede is staying in shape and is waiting at his Missouri home for an interested team to call.

Our View:Crede has been hitting and throwing, but his issue has always been staying healthy. It appears that he is at the moment, but with his injury history that moment isn't likely to last long. It wouldn't surprise us if no one came calling.

Joe Christensen (Star Tribune) tweeted that he gets the impression that Joe Crede won't be re-signing with the Twins, even with an incentive-heavy deal.

Our View:Crede has a terrible track record with durability, and the Twins seem content with Brendan Harris as their top option at third base. Prospect Danny Valencia is viewed as a future starter at the position as well.
January 17, 2010
The Orioles are interested in third baseman Joe Crede, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Our View:With Ty Wigginton, Garrett Atkins and Luke Scott all already in tow in Baltimore, however, someone would have to be moved first for him to end up there. Don't consider it too likely at this point

Agent Scott Boras suggested that client Joe Crede could be a fit for the Cardinals, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Crede is a Missouri native. He is solid defensively and has pop in his bat, but has a terrible track record with durability and would be a risky addition for the Cardinals.
December 16, 2009
The Orioles have contacted Joe Crede's rep, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View:Baltimore is in the market for corner infielders, and Crede will come with an injury risk if they decide to add him. The team also contacted Carlos Delgado, Hank Blalock, Nick Johnson, Ryan Garko, Garrett Atkins, and Mike Jacobs.
