Joe Crede is set to return to the Twins' lineup tonight at Kansas City after being scratched Monday due to tightness in his back, according to MLBblogs.com.

Our View:Crede is feeling better and should be fine for fantasy duty. Opposing hurler Brian Bannister is 5-5 with a non-imposing 4.17 ERA.

According to MLB.com, Twins' third baseman Joe Crede was a late scratch for Monday night's game due to tightness in his back. He was replaced at third by Brian Buscher.

Our View:The scratch last night appears to be precautionary, as this injury doesn't look too serious. Expect Crede back as soon as tonight, but if you own him check back closer to game time to make sure he is playing.

Joe Crede went 1-for-4 with a solo homer off Mike Burns in Thursday's 6-4 win at Milwaukee.

Our View:Crede ended a 10-game drought without a homer, and has 11 for the season. He has five RBI over his last three games as well.

Joe Crede carried the Twins in Tuesday's 7-3 win at Milwaukee, as he went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored. He hit a double and a single.

Our View:He made his second fielding error of the season, but made up for it with a strong performance at the plate. He snapped a four-game drought without a hit or RBI.

Our View:He has been dealing with a back ailment, but seems to be OK as the club is using him in the cleanup spot tonight. Crede should be safe to consider for fantasy duty.
