October 9, 2009 According to the Our View:Podsednik emerged as an offensive catalyst out of the mist for the White Sox in 2009 and the team looks to want to reward him with a new deal that will keep him on the South side. The speedster hit .304 with seven homers, 48 RBI and 30 steals this season and represents an affordable option out of the leadoff spot. He would be noticeably cheaper that free agent to be, Chone Figgins. |

September 18, 2009 Scott Podsednik went 1-for-3 with a single in tonight's 11-0 loss to the Royals at U.S. Cellular Field. Our View:The Sox only mustered three hits in the game. Podsednik is batting .353 over 68 at-bats this month. |

Our View:Podsednik's South Side career renaissance continues. The outfielder is now batting .307 with 27 stolen bases in his return to the White Sox after a one-year sabbatical in Colorado. |
