Brad Penny said on Monday that he has been pitching with a sore shoulder, according to the AP. "My shoulder is hurting," said Penny. "It was killing me my last game and it was killing me this game." At the time of these comments Penny was still clearly upset about being removed from the game in the fifth inning, so he might have been exaggerating about the seriousness of the injury. Manager Grady Little says he still hasn't spoken to Penny about his animated description of his injury since he was pulled out of Monday's game prior to being eligible for a win.
