Kiko Calero will have the cast removed from his surgically repaired right knee Sunday and be fitted with a brace, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He is out for the remainder of the season and will skip the Puerto Rican winter league as well.

Tony La Russa recently indicated he\'s considering using Calero in closing situations, but that\'s unlikely to be the case if he has another couple of outings like Tuesday\'s.
