July 1, 2008
Tony Armas will make his first start of the year on Tuesday night against the Cardinals, according to The Sports Network.

Our View:Armas will likely end up in the bullpen as the long man replacing Claudio Vargas, but if he turns some heads today after his strong work in the minors (2.54 ERA, 1.02 WHIP), perhaps he could end up with a more substantial role.
June 29, 2008
Tony Armas will reportedly be called up from Triple-A to make a spot start on Tuesday against the Cardinals, according to the NY Daily News.

Our View:After his start, Armas could work as a long reliever out of the bullpen, and is expected to replace Carlos Muniz. He isn't worth targeting as a fantasy prospect.
