Trever Miller agreed to a one-year contract with the Rays on Wednesday, according to the Tampa Tribune. The deal is worth $1.6 million, and it includes a team option for 2009. Miller allowed left-handed hitters to bat just .209 against him last year, and he'll serve as a lefty specialist for Tampa in 2008.

The Astros offered arbitration to Trever Miller over the weekend. He has until Friday to accept the offer. Miller is a Type B free agent.
