Player Notes
April 21, 2008
Mike DiFelice will be designated for assignment on Tuesday, the Tampa Tribune confirms. His roster spot will be taken by Dioner Navarro, who is due to come off the DL.

Our View:That's the life of a veteran journeyman catcher.
April 15, 2008
Mike DiFelice will start tonight against lefty Andy Pettitte and the Yankees, according to The Tampa Tribune. He has racked up four hits over 10 brief at-bats so far.

Our View:DiFelice was notably called up from Triple-A earlier in the month to replace the injured Dioner Navarro on the roster.
April 4, 2008
The Rays purchased the contract of Mike DiFelice from Triple-A Durham Friday. He replaces the injured Dioner Navarro on the roster, but Shawn Riggans should get most of the starts behind the plate.
January 7, 2008
Mike DiFelice signed a minor-league deal with Tampa Bay Monday and received an invitation to spring training. DiFelice, who hit .250 in 40 at-bats last season, will compete for a backup catcher job in the spring, but he won't have any fantasy value regardless.
August 12, 2007
The Mets purchased Mike DiFelice's contract from Triple-A New Orleans Sunday. He replaces the injured Paul Lo Duca on the roster. DiFelice will back up Ramon Castro.
