The agent for Keith Foulke indicated Tuesday that Foulke expects to decide within 48 hours whether to sign with the Red Sox or A\'s, according to the Contra Costa Times. The Red Sox have offered a three-year deal worth $21 million, while the A\'s have offered a four-year deal worth $24 million. Foulke\'s agent suggested that the A\'s need to increase their offer in order to keep him.

Keith Foulke owners should not worry about the fact that Chad Bradford earned a save on Friday night. Bradford got the final out in the eighth inning with a four-run lead and stayed on to finish the ninth. So while Bradford earned a save, it would not have been a save chance for Foulke if he\'d only pitched the ninth. The fact that Foulke pitched two innings on Thursday may have played into the decision as well.
