Ramon Castro hit a monster shot off Andy Pettitte on Saturday afternoon that traveled and estimated 425 feet. The home run snapped Pettitte's 20-inning shutout streak.

Our View:Castro had only 51 at-bats coming into the game with one home run. The home run was the catchers only hit on the day.

Our View:Castro said he confused the time zones, as the game was played on the West Coast against the Padres. He insisted he thought the game was at 4:05 p.m. local time, not 1:05 p.m.

Our View:Castro will serve as Brian Schneider's backup, and his fantasy value will be limited. He does display good power for a catcher as he hit 11 homers over 52 games in 2007.

Ramon Castro is slated to undergo an MRI on his right hamstring Monday after tweaking the muscle on Sunday, according to the New York Daily News. "I felt something, so I stopped running," he said. "I didn't want to keep playing and make it worse." He already had missed six days to due soreness in that area, so this is a bit concerning. We'll have the results of the MRI for you as soon as they are released.
