Bartolo Colon has been moved up a day in the Angels rotation to keep him on his usual four days rest, according to the LA Times. Colon will start today and Kelvm Escobar will be pushed back until tomorrow.

Bartolo Colon threw in the bullpen Tuesday and drew good reviews from Angels bullpen coach Orlando Mercado and pitching coach Bud Black, according to the Orange County Register. Colon left his last start with tightness in his forearm, but the team has no doubt he'll be ready to make his next scheduled start.

According to Blue Jays manager Carlos Tosca, Angels starter Bartolo Colon is throwing about 10 MPH slower than he used to. Even if that is true, it didn't stop Colon from picking up his second win in 11 starts on Friday by holding the Blue Jays to four runs (three earned) over seven innings.
