J.D. Drew will be back in the mix for the first game of today's doubleheader against the Braves. He was penciled in to start last night before rain forced the game to be pushed back to this afternoon, according to the Boston Globe. He's been out since running into a wall during Tuesday's contest. "It's kind of the lower back and the hips where that big contusion's at, and the whole left side of my lower back's been pretty stiff," Drew said. "[I have to] try not to jeopardize it, do anything stupid. You get guarding going on in your lower back and you favor things, pull an ab muscle or something like that. Just trying to avoid anything major." It's not clear if the Sox will risk playing him in both games Saturday, but it looks like it's safe to stick him in for at least the first contest.
