J.D. Drew underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist and right shoulder on Tuesday, and is expected to be ready for the start of spring training, according to the AP.

The LA Times reports that J.D. Drew will undergo surgery on his right wrist and right shoulder Tuesday. "I knew at some point I'd have to get something done, just for quality of life. I could play with it, but they do nag. I've been feeling that for a couple of years and it's been gradually getting worse," he said. "Now it presents itself in a timely fashion to be ready for spring training." If his left wrist still bothers him a month from now, he may have a bone chip removed from the joint.
