Jorge Posada is back in the Yankees' lineup for their game Saturday against the Blue Jays. Posada has missed the last two games with swelling on his injured thumb.

Our View:The thumb is feeling better, and Posada is good to go today. Fantasy owners should feel free to get him back in the lineup, but keep checking back on his status going forward.

Jorge Posada is not in the Yankees' lineup for their Friday afternoon game against the Blue Jays. He is being replaced by Francisco Cervelli behind the plate.

Our View:Posada is missing his second straight game with swelling on his injured thumb. The injury isn't expected to be all that serious, but there is no word yet when he will return. Check back on his status for the weekend.

Jorge Posada is out of the Yankees' lineup for tonight's game against the Mariners while nursing a bruised and sore left thumb, according to the Star-Ledger.

Our View:Skipper Joe Girardi is not concerned with the ailment, and noted that Posada could be used as a pinch-hitter or catch if needed. Francisco Cervelli will start in his place.

Jorge Posada went yard for his 10th time of the season on Saturday, hitting a three-run shot in the Yankees' 5-0 win over the Mets.

Our View:Posada now has 11 double-digit home run campaigns on his resume and continues to be a fine fantasy option at catcher, as he has been since before the turn of the century.

Jorge Posada hit his second home run in as many nights as the Yankees fell 4-2 to the Rangers. He finished 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.

Our View:Posada has three home runs and six RBI in his six games since returning from the DL. He is carrying a very impressive 1.032 OPS on the season.
