Jorge Posada went 3-for-4 with two RBI in spring action against the Orioles on Saturday.

Our View:The Bombers catcher is now batting .375 this preseason. At age 38, he looks primed for another solid season.

According to the New York Post, Jorge Posada feels he's not anywhere close to retiring, and the Yankees will have to "rip the uniform off" him.

Our View:Posada is 38 so his days as an everyday catcher have to be drawing to a close in the near future, but his offense says that he's worth keeping around. Last season in 111 games he hit .285 with 22 homers and 81 RBI. "I am going to make it tough, that's the way I was brought up," Posada said. "I don't want to go away. I am having fun and enjoy playing." He should be near a top-five option at a thin position in this year's fantasy drafts.

Skipper Joe Girardi expects Jorge Posada to handle between 100 and 120 games behind the plate with the Yankees for 2010, according to the Journal News.

Our View:That is an optimistic estimate for the 38-year-old vet, but certainly encouraging regarding his fantasy stock for the upcoming campaign.

Jorge Posada was 1-for-3 with a walk and three RBI as the Yankees beat the Phillies 7-4 on Sunday. He also struck out twice in the game.

Our View:Posada only has three hits in the series, but four RBI. The catcher clearly benefits from batting behind a number of big bats in the Yankee lineup.

Jorge Posada hit a big game-tying home run in the eighth inning on Monday, but the Yankees still ended up falling in extras to the Angels. Posada was 2-for-4 on the game with the solo shot.

Our View:The homer by Posada looked to give the Yanks the momentum late in the game, but the Angels clawed back to cut the New York lead in the series to 2-1. Posada figures to remain behind the plate unless AJ Burnett is on the mound for the rest of the series.
