Mark Sweeney strained his right hamstring while rounding first base on his way to a double on Monday against Colorado, but said he is improving, according to the LA Times.

Our View:Sweeney was able to pinch-hit in the fifth inning of the opening game of the Dodgers' four-game set versus the Cubs on Thursday night, but had to have Chan Ho Park pinch-run for him when he reached base on a single. It remains to be determined how long Sweeney will be out of action. He was only hitting .130 over 46 at-bats, and held no fantasy value.
