Scott Rolen was 2-for-5 with a home run, a stolen base, two RBI, and a run scored as Toronto defeated Philadelphia 7-1 on Wednesday.

Our View:Rolen has a seven game hitting streak going in which he's totaled 15 hits and raised his average from .294 to .325. He does not deliver much power, but he scores runs and is producing a very good average.

Scott Rolen went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's 9-0 win at Texas. He had a double and a pair of singles.

Our View:Rolen is hot as he has three hits in back-to-back games. He raised his season average to .314.

Scott Rolen is not in Sunday's lineup against Kansas City while nursing a stiff back, according to MLB.com.

Our View:Juan Bautista replaces him at third base. Manager Cito Gaston noted that the severity of Rolen's ailment is yet to be determined, but is hopeful Rolen will be able to return Monday against the Rangers.

Our View:Rolen has been surprisingly good this season. The smooth-fielding third baseman has a .302 average and has 15 doubles to go with three homers and 18 RBI. He's a good waiver pick in mixed leagues if your third baseman goes down with an injury.

Our View:He may not be the fantasy player he once was, but his .325 average is keeping him valid in fantasy circles. The power is not going to be there, but he is a solid option in all leagues if he keeps hitting like this.
