Tony Graffanino has been outrighted to Triple-A Columbus by the Indians, according to TSN. He was designated for assignment last week.

Our View:The 36-year-old vet was hitting .130 over 23 at-bats with the Indians this season, and held no fantasy value.

Our View:The .130 average didn't help. Graffanino should be nowhere near a fantasy roster.

Tony Graffanino has been recalled from Triple-A Columbus by the Indians, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:He replaces Jamey Carroll, who was placed on the DL with a broken bone in his left hand. Graffanino is not expected to hold much fantasy value as a reserve infielder during his stint with the club.

The Sports Ticker reports that the Indians signed 36-year-old infielder Tony Graffanino to a minor league deal on Sunday. He will be invited to spring training.

Our View:Graffanino appeared in just 25 games last season with the Indians Triple-A affiliate because of knee surgery. He'll need an excellent showing this spring if he hopes to play for the Major League club come April.

Tony Graffanino, who just turned 35, has inked a minor league deal with the Indians, according to MLB.com.

Our View:He is coming off two knee surgeries, and is not ready for game activity. He will be working with the Triple-A Bisons, but there is no timetable as to when he will be able to play.
