Vladimir Guerrero will see some action in the Rangers' outfield this season, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:Guerrero is slated to serve as the Rangers' primary DH for 2010, and could regain his eligibility as a fantasy outfielder if he plays enough games at the position. His power numbers should be helped while playing his home games at hitter-friendly Rangers Ballpark as well.

The Rangers officially announced their signing of Vladimir Guerrero on Monday, according to the team's official site.

Our View:The former AL MVP from 2004 will serve as Texas' primary designated hitter in 2010. While he's clearly not the player he once was, Guerrero can still make contact better than most while possessing decent pop in his bat.

The Rangers have reportedly reached a deal with Vladimir Guerrero, according to the Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com. It is believed to be a one-year deal worth around $5MM, with an option for 2011.

Our View:Guerrero is expected to serve as the Rangers' right-handed DH. The club also had outfielder Jermaine Dye on their radar.

Vladimir Guerrero and the Rangers are said to be finalizing a one-year deal that will become official following a physical, according to Fox Sports' Jim Bowden.

Our View:It looks like Vlad will be sticking around in the AL West and serving as the Rangers' designated hitter, assuming the negotiations don't suffer any last-second hitches and that he passes his physical. While Guerrero clearly isn't the elite player of his past, the man can still flat out hit a baseball and will continue to draw interest from fantasy owners.

Vladimir Guerrero is apparently holding out for a two-year deal, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:The Rangers remain interested in Vlad, though they, along with every other team in the MLB, have not shown interest in extending a two-year offer. Guerrero can still hit, but with a fragile and aging body, he may have to back down and take the best one-year deal he can get.
