August 25, 2008
Jermaine Dye had a chance to win the game for the White Sox but popped up with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 14th inning in Chicago's 4-3 loss to Baltimore. The game was a continuation of one that began in April but was suspended due to weather.

Our View:Dye is having a great year overall, with 31 home runs, 81 RBI and a batting average near .300, so fantasy owners are likely willing to look past Monday's outcome.

Jermaine Dye was a one-man wrecking crew for the White Sox Saturday, as he pounded out two homers, his 30th and 31st of the season, in a loss to the Rays.

Our View:Most of the talk about the White Sox offense begins with Carlos Quentin, but Dye has had a fantastic year, as well.

The White Sox put the smack down on the Royals this evening, winning 9-0 with a splash of offense from outfielder Jermaine Dye . Dye went 2-for-4 with his 26th double and 28th home run of the season, posting three RBIs and two runs scored on the night.

Our View:Dye improves to a .302 average on the season, though his pace ha slowed in August, having hit .341 in July versus just .211 in August. Hoewver, he now carries four homers on the month with nine RBIs and 10 runs scored.

Jermaine Dye went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-7 loss to the Royals.

Our View:Dye has 26 homers, with three coming over his last seven games. He should remain active in all leagues.

July 27, 2008
Jermaine Dye homered for the third straight day in the White Sox 6-4 loss to the Tigers. It marks the 24th home run of his season. He added a double and finished the day 2-for-3.

Our View:Dye has been a pleasant surprise in 2008. His batting average is 60 points higher than it was a season ago. He is hitting .364 with six home runs, 15 RBI, and 15 runs scored in July.
