Player Notes
March 20, 2010
Ryan Zimmerman went 2-for-3 for the Nationals on Saturday, raising his spring average to .438.

Our View:Healthy and coming off of a huge 2009 season, Zimmerman is a top five option at third base this spring.
March 13, 2010
Ryan Zimmerman went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-7 loss to Houston in the Grapefruit League. He hit a single, double and solo homer off Bud Norris.

Our View:Zimmerman is batting .412 with two homers so far in spring training. The young third baseman looks to be the real deal after breaking out with 33 homers and 106 RBI in 2009, and a regression shouldn't be expected in 2010.
October 3, 2009
Ryan Zimmerman went 3-for-5 with an RBI in the Nationals 6-4 win over the Braves on Saturday.

Our View:Zimm is having by far his best fantasy campaign, hitting .291 with 33 homers and 106 RBI. He set career highs in all three categories in 2009.
October 1, 2009
Ryan Zimmerman went 2-for-4 with an RBI, in addition to scoring the winning run in the ninth inning, as Washington beat the Braves 2-1 in Atlanta.

Our View:If he can pick up five RBI in the Nationals' three remaining games, he will tie his career high of 110 from his rookie season of 2006.
September 27, 2009
Ryan Zimmerman socked his 32nd home run on Sunday, further extending his career-best total, but couldn't prevent the Nats from getting swept by the Braves, as Atlanta won 6-3 in ten innings in Washington.

Our View:With 32 home runs and 101 RBI this season, Zimmerman has established himself as an elite choice at third base for 2010.
