Marc-Andre Fleury allowed four goals on 29 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Washington Capitals. Fleury had the "honor" of allowing a milestone goal to Caps forward Alex Ovechkin, who hit the 1,000-point mark tonight. The Penguins goalie has a 13-6-4 record with a 3.11 goals-against-average and a .908 save percentage. His workload should start to come down now that Matt Murray is healthy enough to play.

Braden Holtby G WAS
Braden Holtby turned aside 30 of 32 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Holtby has a 20-8-4 record with a 1.90 goals-against-average and a .932 save percentage. Expect him to be one of the top fantasy goalies in the second half of the season.

Michael Hutchinson G WPG
Michael Hutchinson allowed four goals on 23 shots in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to Montreal. Hutchinson entered the game in relief of Connor Hellebuyck, who allowed four goals on seven shots in the first period. It didn't matter who was in goal for the Jets tonight, as they couldn't handle the Canadiens' speed and effort. Hutchinson took the loss in this one, and his record drops to 4-8-2 in 2016-17. He'll enter his next appearance with a 3.30 goals-against-average and a .890 save percentage.

Al Montoya allowed four goals on 27 shots in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Winnipeg Jets. The stat line looks mediocre, but Montoya couldn't be blamed on any of Winnipeg's four goals. The Canadiens backup goalie has now won three consecutive starts. He'll enter his next appearance with a 2.86 goals-against-average and a .907 save percentage. Columbus Dispatch
Calvert will not travel with the Blue Jackets' to Florida for Friday's game against the Lightning and Saturday's contest against the Panthers. There's still enough time that he could join up with them before those games though, so nothing is set in stone yet. Calvert was a late scratch on Tuesday due to the illness and part of the motivation for keeping him grounded could be to simply avoid the disease from spreading further. "We've got a few guys fighting it," Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella said of the illness. "You get on that plane and it's a bacteria machine."

T.J. Brodie D CAL
T.J. Brodie is in a three-way tie for the third worst plus/minus in the league at minus-16.

Calgary Sun
Brodie had a plus-four rating last season despite the Flames' subpar 35-40-7 record. The good news is that Brodie's terrible plus/minus rating isn't primarily due to recent events. He posted a minus-five rating in October and was minus-nine in November. Over his last 17 games though, he's been at minus-two. He'll have a chance to dig a bit out of that plus/minus hole on Wednesday against San Jose.

Jhonas Enroth G ANA
The Anaheim Ducks have acquired Jhonas Enroth from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for a 2018 seventh-round draft pick.

Orange County Register
Enroth started the campaign as Toronto's backup goaltender, but he has been bouncing between the NHL and AHL more recently. Toronto then claimed Curtis McElhinney off waivers on Tuesday, which cemented the fact that the backup job was no longer available to Enroth. He won't be the Ducks' backup either. Instead he'll work with the AHL's San Diego Gulls, providing Anaheim with some added organizational depth.

Patrick Sharp shoots well in loss to Ducks 01-11-2017
Patrick Sharp RW DAL
Patrick Sharp made six shots on goal against the Anaheim Ducks, but John Gibson denied them all as the Dallas Stars lost the 2-0 contest. Sharp was coming off a much more productive night with one goal and two assists Monday against the Kings on four shots. The injury-plagued winger seemed to be getting into a rhythm with those three points, which is going to be critical as the team evaluates the risk of another concussion with how much ice time they want to allot him. Sharp has already missed one 14-game streak to a concussion and another 12-game period that ended on New Year's Eve against the Florida Panthers.
Stars stick with Niemi in 2-0 loss to Ducks 01-11-2017
Antti Niemi G DAL

This was his first full game since his overtime loss to St Louis on December 20th. Niemi withstood pressure from the Ducks by blocking 36 of 38 shots and maintaining a .947 save percentage. This loss will be reviewed against Lehtonen's recent performance to decide who gets the start in net for the Stars' upcoming home games against Detroit on Thursday and Minnesota on Saturday.

Jakob Silfverberg scored one goal and had an assist Tuesday night as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Dallas Stars 2-0. That gave Silfverberg a piece of both goals Tuesday and raised his points total to 28 on the strength of 12 goals and 16 assists. Silfverberg closed to within two points of Ryan Getzlaf for third on team leaderboard. John Gibson G ANA
John Gibson earned his third shutout of the season as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Dallas Stars 2-0 Tuesday night. Notably, this was Gibson's second shutout in the past four games. Gibson's 34 blocks against the Wild on Sunday came with a loss when he gave up two goals. This was the fifth straight game in which Gibson had a save percentage greater than .910.
Oscar Klefbom turned one shot into a goal 01-11-2017
Oscar Klefbom D EDM
Oscar Klefbom's third period goal put the Edmonton Oilers in shooting range, but they could not capitalize and lost 5-3 to the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night. Klefbom turned his one shot into an opportunity when he scored at the 3:45 mark of the third period. The Oilers defenseman led the team in shots on Saturday with nine in an overtime win against the Devils, but he lacked that productivity Tuesday. Klefbom was not the only Oiler afraid of the paint. No one on the team had more than three shots on goal except for Patrick Maroon who threw off the curve with six. This was Klefbom's seventh goal of the season, his highest scoring season to date.
Martin Jones makes 33 saves in win vs. Oilers 01-11-2017
Martin Jones G SJ
Martin Jones blocked 33 shots and let three get past him as the San Jose Sharks beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-3 Tuesday night. This was not an atypical night. In fact, with a save percentage of .917 he exactly matched his season average. In his last outing on Saturday night against the Red Wings, he had a .914 with 32 saves on 35 shots. Still, Jones has had a one-goal game only once in his last 14 efforts and that has limited his fantasy point production.
