Molder looks to continue streak at the BMW 09-03-2013
Bryce Molder
Bryce Molder had made the cut in each of the first two FedExCup Playoff events, and will go for three at the BWM Championship next week. Molder tied for 25th at Liberty National in The Barclays, then shared 41st at TPC Boston in the Deutsche Bank Championship. In all, he's made seven of his last eight cuts, but doesn't have a top 15 among them. In fact, he's racked up eight top 25s without a top 10 in 2013, and he will need at least a top 10 if he has any hopes of making it to the TOUR Championship.
Bae's Playoffs likely to end at Conway Farms 09-03-2013
Sang-Moon Bae
Sang-moon Bae limps into Conway Farms Golf Club for the BMW Championship ranked 67th in the FedExCup standings. Since his breakthrough win at the HP Byron Nelson Championship May, Bae has missed seven of his 11 cuts and failed to crack the top 30. Included in that are missed cuts at The Barclays and the Deutsche Bank Championship. Needless to say, he'll have to have a huge week if he hopes to make it to East Lake for the TOUR Championship.
Cabrera hanging on to Playoff hopes at BMW 09-03-2013
Angel Cabrera
Angel Cabrera enters the BMW Championship occupying the 68th position in the FedExCup standings. Cabrera hasn't exactly aced the Playoffs to date, missing the cut at Liberty National and finishing 76th at TPC Boston. His first look at Conway Farms Golf Club will need to be significantly better than those results if he is to test his game at East Lake.
Late birdie sneaks Steele into Conway Farms 09-03-2013
Brendan Steele
Brendan Steele birdied the 72nd hole of the Deutsche Bank Championship to slide into the field at the BMW Championship in the 69th position of the FedExCup standings. Steele was projected outside of the FEC top 70 when he stepped onto the 18th tee in the final round at TPC Boston, then calmly landed the par 5 green in two. Lagging his eagle attempt to close range, he tapped in for birdie and moved on to the third leg of the Playoffs. This is his second time making it this deep, finishing a distant 68th in the 2011 BMW Championship.
Els parks in last spot at BMW Championship 09-03-2013
Ernie Els
Ernie Els was the last man to earn a spot in the field at the BMW Championship. Els missed a birdie opportunity on the 72nd hole of the Deutsche Bank Championship when he failed to birdie the reachable par-5 18th, then became an interested spectator for the rest of the finale. Fortunately for him, he held on to the 70th spot in the FedExCup standings and advances to Conway Farms Golf Club. He's made it to the third leg of the Playoffs despite netting just one top 10 this season.
Stricker not ruling out a start at East Lake 09-03-2013
Steve Stricker
Although Steve Stricker is scheduled to go elk hunting the week of the TOUR Championship, he has not shut the door on an appearance at East Lake.

Life is pretty good for the 46-year-old. He weighing a buddies trip to Colorado against teeing it up for $11.44 million, $10 million of which in the form of the bonus awarded to the FedExCup champion. "I'd like to do both," Stricker said of his dilemma. "But it's not possible. ... I got a text message from one of my buddies who is going on the trip. Actually it was an e-mail and he's like, remember, you're elk hunting. But he knows if I'm up in there and have a chance to win or top 10 going into Atlanta, I'll probably go to Atlanta." First up, however, is next week's BMW Championship at Conway Farms near his stomping grounds in the Midwest. That he's committed to the BMW is great news for gamers that were concerned he'd hang up the spikes after a solo second at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
