Dean Wilson WDs as an alternate from the HP 05-15-2013
Dean Wilson
Dean Wilson has been removed as an alternate from the published field of this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

He started the week as the seventh alternate but had risen to first after Dustin Johnson withdrew. Wilson posted a T59 in his only start of the season at the Sony Open, so he'll continue to occupy a spot in the Beyond 150 Reshuffle for the remainder of the year. He wouldn't have fantasy value even if he played more often.
Flanagan back in South Carolina to defend BMW 05-15-2013
Nick Flanagan
Nick Flanagan will defend his title at the BMW Charity Pro-Am this week on the Web.com Tour.

Flanagan picked up his fourth victory on the Web.com Tour in last year's Pro-Am, and heads back to South Carolina chasing a solid week. He's trending well this year, with a T9 to start the season in Panama and a T4 at the WNB Golf Classic in April. Of note, the three-course rotation has experienced a little turnover since last year. The Reserve at Lake Keowee joins The Greenville Country Club's Chanticleer Course and Thornblade Club in the rotation for the first three rounds, with Thornblade seeing all the action on Sunday.
J. Day is a top-10 machine at HP Byron Nelson 05-15-2013
Jason Day
Jason Day returns to one of his best stops on the PGA TOUR for the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Day won in his first trip to TPC Four Seasons in 2010, and racked up top 10s in 2011 and 2012. He's made each of his 10 cuts in 2013, and enters the week off of a T19 at THE PLAYERS. Given his success and strong current form, he is a perfect play in every fantasy format this week.
Perry stepping down to play HP Byron Nelson 05-15-2013
Kenny Perry
Kenny Perry will step outside of the Champions Tour to play in this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Perry is still fully exempt on the PGA TOUR, but this will be his first start with the flat bellies in 2013. He last played here in 2010, tying for 16th. It will be interesting to see how he fares in a field that isn't one of the strongest of the season.
Siem picks up fifth U.S. start at HPBNC 05-15-2013
Marcel Siem
Marcel Siem will tee it up in the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Siem is a non-member, but playing for the fifth time on American soil. His only other trip to Texas resulted in a T10 at the Valero Texas Open, so the Lone Star State could provide the perfect backdrop for a successful maiden voyage at TPC Four Seasons. Given his commitment to playing in the U.S. at this point of the schedule, it's plausible that he's trying to earn enough money for a special temporary membership and a spot on TOUR next season.
Weir brings slump to Texas for Byron Nelson 05-15-2013
Mike Weir
Mike Weir will give it a go in his 11th HP Byron Nelson Championship this week.

Weir's 2013 has been a major struggle, with his T73 at the Wells Fargo his first payday since Pebble Beach in February. At 190th in ball-striking, there's way too much pressure on his short game and putting to be a factor. He's got three top 25s on his resume at TPC Four Seasons, but has not cracked a top 10.
Bowditch makes third trip to the Byron Nelson 05-15-2013
Steven Bowditch
Steven Bowditch continues his 2013 PGA TOUR season at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

The Aussie enters the week having make four of his last five cuts in 2013, but none of those broke the top 55. In tow previous trips to TPC Four Seasons, he's missed a cut and tied for 60th. Though he's 16th in driving distance, he ranks outside the top 100 in virtually every other major statistic.
Rocha nabs rare start at TPC Four Seasons 05-15-2013
Alexandre Rocha
Alexandre Rocha makes his third start on the PGA TOUR in 2013 at this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Rocha missed the cut at Pebble Beach and tied for 64th at Puerto Rico in his previous two starts this season. He's two-for-two in cashing checks at TPC Four Seasons, which may explain why he chose to take his chances this week instead of playing on the Web.com Tour this week where he has a much better chance at earning a PGA TOUR card for next year.
Park looks for first top 30 of '13 at HPBNC 05-15-2013
Jin Park
Jin Park will make his 12th start of the season at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Park has only made three cuts, with a T31 at the Shell Houston Open his best showing. This will be his third showing in this event, with a missed cut and a W/D the past history. Given his lack of success both at the venue and this season, there is no reason to invest in him in any format.
O'Hern makes fourth start of '13 at HPBNC 05-15-2013
Nick O'Hern
Nick O'Hern had his number called for the fourth time in 2013 and is in the field at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

O'Hern has made two of three cuts, with a T18 in Puerto Rico the highlight. In three attempts in this event, his best start resulted in a 68th last year. He's one of a number of guys that now must imply strategy as to whether it's better to make starts on the PGA TOUR or Web.com Tour for the remainder of the year in an effort to ensure a shot at a 2013-2014 TOUR card.
Purdy picks up invite to play HP Byron Nelson 05-15-2013
Ted Purdy
Ted Purdy will tee it up in his ninth HP Byron Nelson Championship this week.

Purdy's starts are limited, playing with only past champion status. Because of that, there is little way to capture his current form ahead of his trip to TPC Four Seasons. As the winner of the 2005 edition of this event, it's possible there will be enough good memories to catapult him to success.
