Kokrak needs a boost @ Travelers Championship 06-19-2012
Jason Kokrak
Jason Kokrak's rookie season hasn't gone quite as well as planned, but he has a chance to improve that at the Travelers Championship.

PGATOUR.com
Kokrak got off to a decent start, but has missed the cut in eight of his last nine events. While the bomber is fifth in driving distance, he's been unable to harness his power. he ranks 161 in driving accuracy, 89th in GIR and 133 in Strokes Gained Putting. Playing at one of the shortest tracks on TOUR, he'll need to concentrate on precision this week in order to find a spot on the leaderboard.
Green to tee it up at Travelers Championship 06-19-2012
Nathan Green
Nathan Green will tee it up at the 2012 Travelers Championship.

PGATOUR.com
The Aussie's made seven (of 11) cuts, but only managed to bring home one top 25. His T24 at the Valero Texas Open added up to an even-par 288. Hanging around even isn't going to move anyone forward at the TPC River Highlands, where the winning score will sometimes break 20-under. He's 15th in GIR and 77th in Strokes Gained-Putting, so there's reason to believe he could find the hot hand.
Gates could use a good week at the Travelers. 06-19-2012
Bobby Gates
Bobby Gates is in the field at the Travelers Championship, and he could use a good week to get his 2012 back on track.

PGATOUR.com
Gates has made 11 (of 17) cuts, but in his last four starts his best finish is a T66 at Colonial. In last year's edition of the Travelers, he missed the cut. That known, history and current form aren't exactly on his side. He ranks 148th in total putting, so to contend he will need to have a better than average week with the flat stick.
Dunlap looks for second payday at Travelers 06-19-2012
Scott Dunlap
Scott Dunlap couldn't have imagined 2012 would be such a difficult year when he navigated Q School successfully in December of 2011, but he seeks to make his second cut in 10 tries at this week's Travelers Championship.

PGATOUR.com
Dunlap's lone payday was a T73 at the Valero Texas Open where his first-round 72 was his best of the week. He's currently giving back 1.277 strokes per round with the putter to go with only being able to find the dance floor in regulation 57.72 percent of the time. Things in both of those categories need to improve dramatically if he's to contend at the TPC River Highlands.
Slow start for Chopra; heads to Travelers 06-19-2012
Daniel Chopra
Veteran professional Daniel Chopra is in the midst of a year to forget, but has a chance to turn that around at the Travelers Championship.

PGATOUR.com
The Swede has made just two cuts in 10 tries for a total of $56,018. If there is a reason for optimism, it's that both of his paydays have come in his last three starts. His struggles can be defined by his 182nd ranking in GIR. However, if he could find a solid week with the irons at the TPC River Highlands his Strokes Gained-Putting ranking of fourth could lead to some low numbers.
Chalmers plays Travelers; solid year to date 06-19-2012
Greg Chalmers
Greg Chalmers has notched 12 cuts in 16 events and will now take aim at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut.

PGATOUR.com
The Aussie has made his last three cuts, but hasn't run into a top 25 since his T20 at the Heritage in April. A smooth putter by reputation, he's a modest 71st in Strokes Gained-Putting this year. He's also 153rd in GIR, so one of those stats will need to move in an upward direction at the TPC River Highlands if he hopes to contend.
M. Bradley looking for first top 20 of 2012 06-19-2012
Michael Bradley
Michael Bradley is playing in the Travelers Championship and is in search of his first top 20 of the 2012 season.

PGATOUR.com
The 2011 Puerto Rico Open champion has seen the weekend in half of his 14 tries with his lone top 25 coming at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions (T22). Due in part to his length, he ranks 178th in total driving, but 41st in GIR. He will need to be clicking on all cynlinders if he hopes to rattle home enough birdies to contend at the TPC River Highlands.
M. Anderson enters Travelers on a dry spell 06-19-2012
Mark Anderson
Mark Anderson will play the Travelers Championship having missed his last four cuts leading up to this week.

PGATOUR.com
Anderson was in the midst of a solid rookie season, seeing the weekend in eight of his first nine tournaments. Since then, he's dropped into the first real dry spell of his rookie campaign. He ranks 133rd in GIR and 55th in Strokes Gained-Putting. If he can get hot with the irons this week, he has a chance to get his season back on track.

Webb Simpson

PGATOUR.com
Immediately following his victory at Olympic Club on Sunday, Simpson left the door open until further review. His wife is seven months pregnant and the golfer doesn't want to risk missing the birth. This is what Lewis tweeted: "Caught up with @webbsimpson1 today at Travelers. Will NOT play British Open. Wife Dowd due with couple's 2nd child and won't miss birth." Meanwhile, Webb Simpson is a green light for this week's Travelers Championship.

He finished T24 at last year's Travelers, closing out his week with a bogey-free 63. However, until he makes a cut, he shouldn't be on your radar.

PGATOUR.com
This is an unexpected bit of news and a little concerning. Every also withdrew early from the St. Jude two weeks ago. He competed in the U.S. Open sectional qualifier in Columbus, Ohio on June 4 but not since. As a result of consecutive early WDs, we'll add him to our Injury Report even though no information has been released to explain his time away.
