Hakeem Nicks' injury not considered serious 11-20-2013
Hakeem Nicks WR NO
The NY Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano is hearing that Hakeem Nicks' groin injury isn't considered serious.

Ralph Vacchiano on Twitter
Nicks missed Wednesday's practice. It's entirely possible he'll return on Thursday and start against the Cowboys, but obviously no sure thing considering his history of durability woes. Nicks has stayed healthy for the most part this season and has still been a major disappointment in his contract year.
Jared Veldheer due back in Week 13 11-20-2013
Jared Veldheer OT ARZ
The Raiders expect LT Jared Veldheer (triceps) to return in Week 13.

Steve Corkran on Twitter
It's Oakland's Thanksgiving matchup with Dallas. Veldheer was one of the NFL's up-and-coming young pass protectors before tearing his triceps partially in August. His return would be a boon to Matt McGloin and/or Terrelle Pryor.
Fauria not playing much for Lions 11-20-2013
Joseph Fauria TE ARZ
Lions TE Joseph Fauria has played just 27 percent of Detroit's offensive snaps since catching three touchdowns in Week 6 against Cleveland.

Detroit Free Press
He's managed three catches for 53 yards combined during the four-game stretch. Coach Jim Schwartz chalked up Fauria's lack of productivity to "not catching anybody by surprise anymore." Defenses have begun defending Fauria physically at the line of scrimmage, disrupting his routes. Schwartz still considers Fauria a "pivotal" part of the Lions' offense, even as a part-time player.
Santonio Holmes not dealing with setback 11-20-2013
Santonio Holmes WR CHI
Jets coach Rex Ryan told reporters Wednesday Santonio Holmes' hamstring was not reinjured in Sunday's loss to Buffalo.

ESPN New York
"No, it wasn't really a setback," Ryan said. "It's just that today we thought it was best that he miss practice and heal up a little bit. But it wasn't something that he had a major injury, let's say. So I expect him to practice tomorrow." Holmes remains on track to start in Week 12 against Baltimore.
Stephen Hill will continue to play snaps 11-20-2013
Stephen Hill WR CAR
Stephen Hill will remain part of the Jets' receiver rotation despite losing his starting job to David Nelson.

ESPN New York
"[WRs coach Sanjay Lal was] just straight up with me," said Hill. "That some things are going to be cut down. But I'm still going to get enough reps." Highly inconsistent, Hill has gone catch-less in two straight games. He was targeted seven times in Week 11 and didn't secure any of them. The Jets' receiver rotation currently involves Nelson, Hill, Santonio Holmes, and slot man Greg Salas. They also use a rotation at tight end.
Darren McFadden 'getting closer' 11-20-2013
Darren McFadden RB DAL
Raiders coach Dennis Allen told reporters Wednesday that Darren McFadden (hamstring) is "definitely getting closer" to a return.

Steve Corkran on Twitter
Not what Rashad Jennings' fantasy owners want to hear. Allen said DMC had a "productive workout" with trainers Wednesday, despite missing practice. He's uncertain to play in Week 12 against Tennessee, and we'd bet against McFadden dressing. When McFadden does return, he's expected to be in a timeshare with Jennings. Jennings has likely earned the permanent starting job.
Denarius Moore has 'really sore' shoulder 11-20-2013
Denarius Moore WR BUF
Coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday Denarius Moore will likely have to deal with soreness in his shoulder the rest of the season.

Steve Corkran on Twitter
Allen described the shoulder as "really sore" after Moore missed practice. His status for Week 12 against Tennessee is uncertain. The injury sounds like something Moore may have to have surgically repaired during the offseason.
Crabtree to make debut in Week 13? 11-20-2013
Michael Crabtree WR OAK
The Sacramento Bee's Matt Barrows "guesses" that Michael Crabtree (PUP, Achilles') will make his season debut in Week 13.

Matt Barrows on Twitter
Barrows openly admits it's just a guess, but he projects Crabtree to play "a dozen or so snaps" on December 1 against St. Louis. Fantasy leaguers shouldn't be expecting Crabtree to be an asset during the fantasy playoffs, and he appears unlikely to play on Monday night against the Redskins. Crabtree is just barely worth stashing for receiver-needy owners down the stretch.
Shane Vereen (wrist) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Shane Vereen RB NYG
Shane Vereen (wrist) is practicing in full this week. Vereen made his first appearance since Week 1 this past Monday night and led the Patriots with 72 yards on nine touches. He's a fine flex option.
Rob Gronkowski limited on Wednesday 11-20-2013
Rob Gronkowski TE NE
Rob Gronkowski (forearm, back, hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. Gronkowski had the same injury designations last week. He'll be full-throttle against the Broncos on Sunday night. Gronk is Rotoworld's No. 1 tight end.
Peyton Manning not practicing Wednesday 11-20-2013
Peyton Manning QB DEN
Peyton Manning (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Manning has been taking Wednesdays off for the past couple weeks. He participated in Wednesday's walkthrough and is in zero danger of missing Sunday night's showdown with Tom Brady. Manning is locked in as a top-three quarterback.
Pettigrew (knee) limited Wednesday 11-20-2013
Brandon Pettigrew TE DET
Brandon Pettigrew (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. Pettigrew tweaked his leg early in last week's loss to the Steelers but continued to play through it. He's nothing more than a low-end TE2 in fantasy.
Ryan Mathews (hamstring) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Ryan Mathews RB PHI
Ryan Mathews (hamstring) is practicing in full this week. Just as he was last week. Mathews will be fine for Sunday's tilt against the Chiefs. He'll be merely a flex option against the stout Kansas City front.
Ben Tate limited with assortment of injuries 11-20-2013
Ben Tate RB PIT
Ben Tate (ribs, ankle, toe) was limited in Wednesday's practice. The toe and ankle "injuries" are new for Tate, but he shouldn't be in any danger of missing Week 12 against the Jaguars. Keep trotting him out as an RB2.
Dez Bryant (back) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Dez Bryant WR DAL
Dez Bryant (back) is practicing in full this week. Coming out of the bye week, Bryant's back issues should be behind him. The Cowboys need to make a more concerted effort to get him the ball this week.
Jacquizz Rodgers (ankle) probable for Thurs. 11-20-2013
Jacquizz Rodgers RB TB
Jacquizz Rodgers (ankle) is listed as probable for Thursday night's Week 12 game against the Saints. Rodgers was upgraded to full participation on Wednesday after being limited Monday and Tuesday. He'll be all systems go but isn't even a flex option.
Carson Palmer (hand) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Carson Palmer QB ARZ
Carson Palmer (hand) is practicing in full this week.

Darren Urban on Twitter
Palmer may have banged his throwing hand against the Jaguars but will be fine for Week 12 against the Colts at home. He's on the QB2 radar once again.
Michael Floyd (shoulder) limited Wednesday 11-20-2013
Michael Floyd WR NE
Michael Floyd (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Darren Urban on Twitter
Floyd suffered no setbacks in his dominant Week 11 performance against the Jaguars and will be ready to roll as a boom-or-bust WR3 against the Colts Sunday.
Texans claim CB Justin Rogers off waivers 11-20-2013
Justin Rogers CB WAS
Texans claimed CB Justin Rogers off waivers from the Bills. Rogers, 26 in January, was cut by the Bills on Tuesday. He started the first five games of the season for the Bills due to injuries and was getting torched. Rogers will be depth in Houston. ILB D.J. Smith was waived to make room.
Emannuel Sanders (foot) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Emmanuel Sanders WR DEN
Emmanuel Sanders (foot) is practicing in full this week.

Scott Petrak on Twitter
Sanders exited last Sunday's win over the Lions early and never returned. Both he and coach Mike Tomlin have recently classified the injury as not serious. Sanders should be fine for Week 12 against the Browns as a borderline WR3.
Fozzy Whittaker (ankle) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Fozzy Whittaker RB CAR
Fozzy Whittaker (ankle) is practicing in full this week.

Nate Ulrich on Twitter
Whittaker totaled 61 yards on nine touches last Sunday against the Bengals. He should continue to push Willis McGahee for snaps in a committee with Chris Ogbonnaya.
McGahee (knee) practicing in full 11-20-2013
Willis McGahee RB CLE
Willis McGahee (knee) is practicing in full this week.

Nate Ulrich on Twitter
As is the case every week. McGahee is in no danger of missing Week 12, but his role has been reduced. He carried the ball just six times last Sunday.
Lance Kendricks practicing in full this week 11-20-2013
Lance Kendricks TE LA
Rams TE Lance Kendricks (finger) is practicing in full for Week 12.

Nick Wagoner on Twitter
Kendricks is fully healthy with the Rams coming off their bye. He'll continue to play in two tight end sets behind Jared Cook, but remains off the fantasy radar.
Amendola (groin) limited on Wednesday 11-20-2013
Danny Amendola WR NE
Danny Amendola (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Jeff Howe on Twitter
Amendola practiced in full last week and didn't suffer any setbacks in Monday night's loss. He's safe to use as a WR2 for Week 12 against the Broncos.
Raiders name Matt McGloin Week 12 starter 11-20-2013
Matt McGloin QB OAK
Matt McGloin will start Sunday's Week 12 game against the Titans.

Jerry McDonald on Twitter
Coming off an impressive outing that saw McGloin throw three touchdowns and zero interceptions, the undrafted rookie out of Penn State will make a second consecutive start. Terrelle Pryor (knee) returned to practice Tuesday but worked with the second-team offense. McGloin has a tough test against the Titans, but at least he gets them at home. He's only an option in two-quarterback leagues.
Cecil Shorts (groin) limited on Wednesday 11-20-2013
Cecil Shorts WR TB
Cecil Shorts (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

John Oehser on Twitter
Shorts played the entire game in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals and didn't suffer any setbacks, so the Jaguars are likely just resting him for precautionary reasons. He's in no danger of missing Week 12 against the Texans.
Vincent Brown (shoulder) limited Wednesday 11-20-2013
Vincent Brown WR NO
Vincent Brown (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Michael Gehlken on Twitter
Brown hasn't topped three catches and 35 yards in a game since Week 5. He's being used mainly as an every-down blocker and is barely on the WR5 radar.
Mike Brown (shoulder) unable to practice 11-20-2013
Mike Brown WR CAR
Mike Brown (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday.

John Oehser on Twitter
Brown is dealing with an AC sprain and considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans. He'll likely need to return to practice by Friday to have a chance at playing this week. If Brown can't go, Kerry Taylor will replace him in two-wide sets, with Ace Sanders working in the slot.
Jimmy Graham listed as questionable for TNF 11-20-2013
Jimmy Graham TE SEA
Jimmy Graham (foot, elbow) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's Week 12 game against the Falcons.

Larry Holder on Twitter
Graham is going to play. He got in three limited practice sessions this week and should play his normal complement of snaps. Graham is a top-two TE play.
Sproles misses practice again, questionable 11-20-2013
Darren Sproles RB PHI
Darren Sproles (ankle, knee) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 12 against the Falcons.

Mike Triplett on Twitter
Redskins WR Hankerson (knee) done for 2013 11-20-2013
Leonard Hankerson WR BUF
Leonard Hankerson needs surgery to repair the LCL in his left knee and is done for the season.

John Keim on Twitter
This was the expected outcome. Hankerson likely has a torn LCL. He went down in the first quarter of last Sunday's loss to the Eagles. HankTime had his best game of the season in Week 1, catching five passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns in garbage time. He caught a total of 30 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns in his third season. Hankerson has a ton of ability but has battled drops and long bouts of inconsistency as a pro. He has one more year left on his rookie deal.
Jordan Reed (concussion) doesn't practice 11-20-2013
Jordan Reed TE WAS
Jordan Reed (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.

Tarik El-Bashir on Twitter
Reed is currently in the NFL's concussion protocol and hasn't been cleared to practice. His Week 12 status remains up in the air. With No. 2 wideout Leonard Hankerson (knee) also sidelined, it's a concern for Washington's offense. The Redskins play the 49ers on Monday Night Football, so Reed will have an extra day to get through tests.
Tony Gonzalez listed as questionable for TNF 11-20-2013
Tony Gonzalez TE ATL
Tony Gonzalez (toe) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's Week 12 game against the Saints.

Vaughn McClure on Twitter
Gonzalez didn't practice Monday or Tuesday but went through the team's walkthrough Wednesday, putting him on track to suit up Thursday night. Owners can safely plug Gonzalez into lineups. He'll then have ten days off before the Falcons take on the Bills in Week 13. Gonzalez is a mid-range TE1.
Greg Jennings held out of practice Wednesday 11-20-2013
Greg Jennings WR MIA
Greg Jennings (Achilles) is not practicing Wednesday.

Mark Craig on Twitter
Jennings was a surprise inactive in Week 11 and is still dealing with soreness in his Achilles injury. He's hoping to return to practice Thursday and should return after missing just one game.
Adrian Peterson doesn't practice Wednesday 11-20-2013
Adrian Peterson RB MIN
Adrian Peterson (groin) did not practice Wednesday.

Mark Craig on Twitter
Peterson said following Sunday's loss that his groin injury was "bothering" him, but there's been no indication that he's in any danger of missing Week 12. He'll be a top-five option against the Packers even at less than full health.
McGloin taking Raiders' first-team reps Wed. 11-20-2013
Matt McGloin QB OAK
Matt McGloin took the first-team quarterback reps at practice Wednesday.

Scott Bair on Twitter
Justin Hunter cleared to practice 11-20-2013
Justin Hunter WR BUF
Justin Hunter (concussion) is practicing Wednesday.

Jim Wyatt on Twitter
Hunter suffered a concussion in Thursday night's loss to the Colts, but has been cleared to resume practicing. Barring a setback, he's now on track to play in Week 12 against the Raiders.
Eddie Royal (toe) misses practice Wednesday 11-20-2013
Eddie Royal WR CHI
Eddie Royal (toe) is not practicing Wednesday.

Michael Gehlken on Twitter
Royal hasn't practiced for weeks due to turf toe. He's still been suiting up on Sundays. That won't change in Week 12. Royal is a WR4/5.
Denarius Moore (shoulder) not at practice 11-20-2013
Denarius Moore WR BUF
Denarius Moore (shoulder) is not practicing Wednesday.

Steve Corkran on Twitter
Moore underwent an MRI on Monday, so the fact that he wasn't able to practice isn't a great sign for his Week 12 status. Even if he manages to play, Moore won't be a recommended fantasy option in a matchup against a Titans defense that allowing an average of just 213 passing yards per game. His status will be updated again no later than Thursday.
Hakeem Nicks sidelined by groin Wednesday 11-20-2013
Hakeem Nicks WR NO
Hakeem Nicks (groin) did not practice Wednesday.

Dan Graziano on Twitter
Nicks wasn't part of the pre-practice injury report but was added to it after he was off to the side riding the stationary bike with the rest of the Giants' injured players. Nicks has battled various ailments this season but has yet to miss a game. His status for Week 12 appears to be up in the air. We'll update Nicks again on Thursday, at the latest. Keep an eye on him.
McFadden (hamstring) not practicing Wednesday 11-20-2013
Darren McFadden RB DAL
Darren McFadden (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.

Steve Corkran on Twitter
McFadden hasn't practiced the last two weeks and will likely be returning to a timeshare when healthy. Rashad Jennings is on track to make another start in Week 12 against the Titans.
Raiders activate LB Burris from PUP list 11-20-2013
Miles Burris LB OAK
Raiders activated LB Miles Burris (knee surgery) from reserve/PUP.

Steve Corkran on Twitter
Burris underwent some sort of knee operation in January, though the Raiders never provided details of the procedure. He can play all three linebacker spots and will provide depth behind starters Sio Moore, Nick Roach, and Kevin Burnett.
Raiders place CB Hayden on year-ending I.R. 11-20-2013
D.J. Hayden CB OAK
Raiders placed CB D.J. Hayden on injured reserve with a groin injury, ending his season. Hayden had been inactive the last two weeks and wasn't close to returning, so the Raiders made the decision to shut him down for the season. He finishes his rookie campaign with 26 tackles, one interception, and two pass deflections over eight games, grading out as the No. 93 corner by Pro Football Focus among 107 qualifiers. Miles Burris has been activated from the PUP list to take his spot on the 53-man roster. Hayden will return to a starting role in 2014.
Keenan Allen (knee) practicing Wednesday 11-20-2013

Michael Gehlken on Twitter
Marlon Brown (knee) practice Wednesday 11-20-2013
Marlon Brown WR DEN

Santonio Holmes (hamstring) rests Wednesday 11-20-2013
Santonio Holmes WR CHI
Santonio Holmes (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

ESPN New York
ESPN New York speculates Holmes was just getting a rest day after he returned to action this past Sunday, though a setback hasn't been ruled out. Holmes looked good in his return, making two catches for 71 yards against the Bills. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR3 when Gang Green takes on the Ravens in Week 12.
Julius Thomas doesn't practice Wednesday 11-20-2013
Julius Thomas TE JAX
Julius Thomas (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

Mike Klis on Twitter
Wes Welker, Orange Julius not practicing Wed. 11-20-2013
Wes Welker WR LA
Wes Welker (concussion) is not practicing Wednesday.

Mike Klis on Twitter
Neither is Julius Thomas (knee). Sources informed ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Tuesday that Welker is "expected to be OK" for Week 12 against the Patriots on Sunday Night Football, but owners need to keep a close eye on him throughout the week. Backup plans need to be in place. Welker's status will be updated again no later than Thursday. Welker is fantasy's No. 10 overall receiver.
Miles Austin (hamstring) practicing Wednesday 11-20-2013
Miles Austin WR PHI
Miles Austin (hamstring) is practicing Wednesday.

Dallas Morning News
Austin is back at or near 100 percent after initially pulling his hamstring in Week 3. He's expected to resume No. 2 receiver duties opposite Dez Bryant, pushing rookie Terrance Williams back into the No. 3 role. All three will play plenty. Austin and Williams will cancel each other out a bit, leaving them as WR3 options. The Cowboys have a very favorable schedule down the stretch.
Dominique Davis (knee) ready for Week 12 11-20-2013
Dominique Davis QB TEN
Dominique Davis (knee) expects to be available for Thursday night's game against the Saints.

Vaughn McClure on Twitter
Mo Claiborne (hamstring) returns to practice 11-20-2013
Morris Claiborne CB DAL
Cowboys CB Morris Claiborne (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday.

Dallas Morning News
It's his first time on the field since straining his hamstring against the Lions on October 27. Before getting hurt, he had lost his starting job to Orlando Scandrick. Expect it to remain that way, as Claiborne has struggled as a sophomore.
Nate Burleson getting first-team reps in 11-20-2013
Nate Burleson WR CLE
Nate Burleson (arm) was working with the first-team in skeleton drills Wednesday.

Detroit News
Barring an unexpected setback, Burleson is going to be active and start Sunday's game against the Bucs. It's a great spot as Tampa has been getting absolutely torched by slot receivers. Rishard Matthews and Harry Douglas have combined to catch 17 passes for 254 yards with three touchdowns against the Bucs in the last two weeks.
Vikings will start Christian Ponder Week 12 11-20-2013
Christian Ponder QB SF
Christian Ponder will start Sunday's game against the Packers.

Chip Scoggins on Twitter
Bjoern Werner will start for Colts this week 11-20-2013
Bjoern Werner OLB JAX
Bjoern Werner will start in place of Erik Walden in Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Greg Rakestraw on Twitter
Werner will step in as the every-down strong-side linebacker. It's a big chance for the No. 24 overall pick who has battled a torn plantar fascia and ineffective play in limited snaps this season.
Darrius Heyward-Bey practicing in full 11-20-2013
Darrius Heyward-Bey WR PIT
Darrius Heyward-Bey (ankle) is practicing in full Wednesday.

Greg Rakestraw on Twitter
The Colts tried to cover up their benching of Heyward-Bey in last Thursday's nationally televised game by saying he had a sore ankle. The real issue is his brutally ineffective play. Look for LaVon Brazill to be in more two-wide sets opposite T.Y. Hilton Sunday.
Stanley Havili has concussion symptoms 11-20-2013
Stanley Havili RB IND
Colts FB Stanley Havili has concussion symptoms.

Kevin Bowen on Twitter
Havili is not practicing Wednesday and will need to pass protocols in order to suit up against the Cardinals Sunday. He's been one of the least effective lead-blockers in football this season anyway.
Jeremy Kerley practicing in red jersey 11-20-2013
Jeremy Kerley WR SF
Jeremy Kerley (elbow) is practicing in a red non-contact jersey Wednesday.

Brian Costello on Twitter
Kerley was working off to the side, apparently to ensure his dislocated elbow doesn't take any hits. Given that, it's hard to see him playing in a game anytime soon. David Nelson and Santonio Holmes project as the Jets' top-two wideouts this week.
Joique Bell not practicing on Wednesday 11-20-2013
Joique Bell RB DET
Joique Bell (foot) is not practicing Wednesday.

Tim Twentyman on Twitter
Bell felt something in his foot "kind of pop" while filling in for a benched Reggie Bush on Sunday. If he can't go Sunday, Theo Riddick will be the No. 2 back and Mikel Leshoure will likely be active. Consider Bell questionable as we await more details.
Glover Quin spotted with a walking boot 11-20-2013
Glover Quin FS DET
Lions SS Glover Quin (ankle) was spotted in a walking boot Wednesday.

Tim Twentyman on Twitter
Tony Gonzalez participating in walkthrough 11-20-2013
Tony Gonzalez TE ATL
Tony Gonzalez (toe) is participating in Wednesday's walkthrough.

Vaughn McClure on Twitter
It's a surefire sign that Gonzalez is on track to play in Thursday night's game against the Saints. He played through the injury into garbage time against the Bucs in Week 11, finishing with seven catches for 63 yards and a two-point conversion. We'll have his official status around 7pm ET Thursday, but owners can safely pencil Gonzalez into lineups.
Calvin Johnson rests on Wednesday 11-20-2013
Calvin Johnson WR DET
Calvin Johnson (knee) is not practicing Wednesday, as expected.

Tim Twentyman on Twitter
Johnson rested on both Wednesday and Thursday last week, and then torched the Steelers for 6/179/2. He's on track for a similar schedule ahead of this week's matchup with Darrelle Revis and the Bucs.
Dennis Pitta returning to practice Wednesday 11-20-2013
Dennis Pitta TE BAL
Dennis Pitta (hip, short-term IR) will resume practicing Wednesday.
Jason Pierre-Paul misses practice 11-20-2013
Jason Pierre-Paul DE NYG
Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) will not practice Wednesday.

Ralph Vacchiano on Twitter
Pierre-Paul played through his sore shoulder last week and looked good in the process, compiling one tackle for a loss to go with an eye-opening interception that he returned for a touchdown. He netted NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors. JPP should be fine for Sunday's showdown with the Cowboys.
Brandon Jacobs not practicing Wednesday 11-20-2013
Brandon Jacobs RB NYG
Brandon Jacobs (knee) will not practice Wednesday.

Ralph Vacchiano on Twitter
It's likely just a day off for Jacobs to manage his chronically sore knee. He should be fine to serve as the short-yardage and goal-line complement to Andre Brown against the Cowboys Sunday.
Zac Stacy practiced Tuesday 11-20-2013
Zac Stacy RB NYJ
Zac Stacy (ankle) practiced Tuesday.

St Louis Post-Dispatch
Josh Cooper called up from practice squad 11-20-2013
Josh Cooper WR MIN
Browns signed WR Josh Cooper off their practice squad. Cooper replaces Armanti Edwards, who was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury Wednesday. Brandon Weeden's old friend from Oklahoma State won't get any preferential treatment from Jason Campbell if he's even active Sunday.
Jermaine Cunningham signs with Jets 11-20-2013
Jermaine Cunningham LB NYJ
Jets signed OLB Jermaine Cunningham. A second-round pick of the Patriots in 2010, Cunningham was waived by the 49ers at the end of October. If active for the Jets, he'll be depth as a sub-package pass-rusher.
Pats to be without Dennard for a few weeks 11-20-2013
Alfonzo Dennard CB ARZ
Patriots CB Alfonzo Dennard (knee) is expected to be out a few weeks.

Ian Rapoport on Twitter
According to the NFL Network, Dennard had a small meniscus procedure over the weekend. It's a concern for the Patriots as they head into a matchup with Peyton Manning and the Broncos this week. Their other starting corner, Aqib Talib, appeared to aggravate his hip injury in the loss at Carolina Monday night.
Justin Hunter not cleared just yet 11-20-2013
Justin Hunter WR BUF
Titans WR Justin Hunter (concussion) had not been cleared to practice as of Tuesday.

Nashville Tennessean
Damian Williams not expected to play 11-20-2013
Damian Williams WR LA
Titans WR/KR Damian Williams (quad) is not expected to play in Sunday's game at Oakland.

Nashville Tennessean
The Titans could also be without Justin Hunter (concussion). They might actually have to use Kenny Britt as their No. 3 wideout behind Kendall Wright and Nate Washington.
Rusty Smith still the backup to Fitzpatrick 11-20-2013
Rusty Smith QB NYG
Rusty Smith will remain the No. 2 quarterback despite the addition of John Skelton.

Nashville Tennessean
Skelton was signed as mere insurance just in case one of Ryan Fitzpatrick or Smith go down. It's perhaps the least talented quarterback room in the entire NFL right now.
Bills sign JJ Unga off Ravens' practice squad 11-20-2013
J.J. 'Unga T BUF
Bills signed OT J.J. Unga off the Ravens' practice squad. The Bills now have nine offensive linemen on the roster. Unga went undrafted out of tiny Division II Midwestern State and then spent the entire offseason program with the Ravens. His cousin is former Eagle Reno Mahe.
Ace Sanders excels in the slot for Jags 11-20-2013
Ace Sanders WR JAX
Ace Sanders has struggled when asked to play outside.

Florida Times Union
The 5'7/173 Sanders has performed reasonably well when in his natural slot position, but the injuries to Mike Brown/Stephen Burton and the suspension to Justin Blackmon have left the Jags desperate. A slower version of Dexter McCluster, owners shouldn't be chasing Sanders' 8/61/0 line from Week 11. We've seen the ceiling.
Tim Wright still playing heavy snaps 11-20-2013
Tim Wright TE DET
Tim Wright played on 33-of-65 snaps (50.7 percent) in Sunday's win over the Falcons.
Wright has fallen off the map of late with a total of two catches for 32 yards on three targets over the last two weeks. But he's remained the primary pass-catching tight end, playing on a healthy 53.0 percent of the snaps. The biggest reason for his disappointing numbers is the Bucs' two-game winning streak. Wright does most of his damage in garbage time, something the TE2 could see plenty of in Week 12. The Lions have been installed as 9.5 point favorites over the Bucs.
Dennis Pitta still hasn't resumed practicing 11-20-2013
Dennis Pitta TE BAL
Dennis Pitta (hip, short-term IR) still hasn't resumed practicing.

Baltimore Sun

Armanti Edwards WR CHI
Browns placed WR Armanti Edwards (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Chris Rainey gets another chance, with Colts 11-20-2013
Chris Rainey RB IND
Colts signed RB/KR Chris Rainey. A 5'8/180 scatback with track star speed, Rainey appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers last season -- primarily as a kick returner. But after a getting popped on a battery charge, he was immediately released. Rainey had a history of off-field issues going back to his days at Florida. Current Colts kick returner David Reed is averaging a pedestrian 23.8 yards per return, 12th-best in the league. Rainey could also take some pressure off No. 1 receiver T.Y. Hilton as a punt returner.
Jerry Jones optimistic on Sean Lee's status 11-20-2013
Sean Lee OLB DAL
Jerry Jones is optimistic on the status of MLB Sean Lee (hamstring).

ESPN Dallas
Nate Burleson says he'll play barring setback 11-20-2013
Nate Burleson WR CLE
Nate Burleson (arm) said there would have to be a "major setback" for him not to play in Sunday's game against the Bucs.

Detroit News
Burleson is awaiting medical clearance that appears to be a formality. He's expected to step right back in as the No. 2 wideout and slot receiver on a team that ranks second in pass attempts this season. "If I'm going to play on Sunday, I want to be in the game plan," Burleson said. "I don't want to be limited."
Aaron Rodgers would have to practice to play 11-20-2013
Aaron Rodgers QB GB
Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) said he would have to get at least one practice in before playing in a game.
Unlike other positions, quarterbacks can't just go into a game cold turkey. If Rodgers is going to play at Detroit on Thanksgiving for Week 13, he said he'll have to get back in practice by that Tuesday. He's been running and tossing the ball without pain, but hasn't even tried to take a snap yet. At this point, owners should just be happy if they get their superstar back for Week 14. Week 13 would be icing on the cake.
