When Mark Martin won at Phoenix in April, he not only snapped the winning streak of his teammate Jimmie Johnson, but he extended an impressive winning streak for Chevrolet at the track. Martin's victory was the eighth straight for the manufacturer at PIR, and its 10th in the last 11 races at the track. Chevy is now tied with Ford for most wins at Phoenix with 12, and Hendrick Motorsports has played a key role in the power shift.

During the eight-race winning streak for Chevy, six victories were secured by HMS drivers, including five straight. The stat is even more impressive when considering that four different drivers have contributed to the six wins for the organization.

Since winning 11 of the first 15 races at PIR, a Ford has been to victory lane just once since 2002. The tie between Chevy and Ford could be broken this weekend, but Dodge and Toyota will look to extend the stalemate for at least one more race.
